When I first started getting into synths and grooveboxes I noticed big limitations. Many sounded great and had some depth to them but I wanted to UNLOCK THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL. My first step for custom gear creation was writing custom firmware for the Novation Launchpad Pro to do midi workflow feats and give more options to popular synths/boxes.
From there it expanded out to opening more doors for the Novation Circuit, Digitone, Elektron Analog Rytm, Synthstrom Deluge, and more. There are limits to what each can do however, and so began the journey into making new hardware…
