CircuitWarp™ was my first foray into eurorack design, now CircuitWarp™ Echo is a eurorack module that will add a new kind of control to the world of eurorack: A Delay that plays like an instrument, with dual joysticks and various surprises.

CIRCUITWARP™ ECHO
An original circuit design using a classic delay chip that is loved by the DIY and professional audio community. Built from the ground up on breadboard and moving into the PCB you see here. The flexibility to do what you want with it is built in. Designed as multiple-mono for Eurorack - this allows you to use it as a stereo delay with totally independent settings OR 2 separate delays OR route one delay into the next for a range of analog signal path that can make reverb, chorus, glitch, warble, and more. DUAL JOYSTICK Control makes this a performance-oriented device.

The only noticeable issue in this first pressing is some of the knobs direction is reversed. Aside from that, everything is working as expected. If other things are added, they are only due to feedback or design adjustments.

What’s it sound like?
This thing is intense! Right now here are some of the examples of the sound from its breadboard verification builds (more was added to circuit since video). The PCB is done NOW, ordered, shipped 8/2/24, hand soldered parts done, tested, and sounds good - so we should have some official audio demo videos done soon. It’s not just a delay but a unique Mod-delay sound. x2
This was also just 1 delay, and the PCB version has 2!!
